What is your service area?
One of A Kind Dog Walking covers Concord, Loudon and Bow, New Hampshire only. I do not offer any services outside of my coverage area at this time.
Do you have a team with employees?
No, One of a Kind Dog Walking does not operate with a team at this time. Your pet(s) will always see the same person (myself) for every visit.
What is your dog walking availability?
My availability for dog walks changes throughout the year. It is heavily dependent on your location and time preferences. Please fill out my contact form to see if I have the specific availability you are seeking.
Do you have a wait list?
I do not offer a wait list however you are welcome to continue to check back in with me to see if I have the availability you are looking for.
Do you offer group walks?
One of A Kind Dog Walking does not offer group walks. All walks are private, with only dogs from the same household. I cater to those who want their dogs to have personalized, one on one time. I have experience with reactive dogs, anxious dogs, fearful dogs and more!
Will you walk my dog off leash?
For safety and insurance reasons all dogs in my care are leashed when off property. Dogs on their own property will be leashed too if they do not have a secure containment system or fenced yard. Your pup's safety and well-being is my top priority!
Can you still walk my dog if I am home?
Yes! Work from home? Or maybe you are injured or simply cannot walk your dog but are home? No problem!
My dog is intact (Not spayed/neutered) can you still walk them?
Yes! I have experience with unaltered dogs of all ages and sizes.
Do you have working dog/sport dog experience?
Yes! Belgian Malinois, German Shepherds etc. I've worked with many high energy, high drive, working dogs over the years.
What are your hours for weekly walking/playtime visits?
One of A Kind Dog Walking offers dog walking/playtime visits Monday thru Fridays between 9am-5pm.
Are you open for weekly dog walking on the weekends?
One of A Kind Dog Walking does not offer regular walks on weekends. Requests for occasional weekend walks can be discussed for current clients however.
What are your hours for Drop in Petsitting?
My Drop in availability does vary depending upon the dates you are looking for. Generally Drop in visits take place Sundays through Saturdays from between about 7:30am-9pm. Morning visits between 7:30am - 9am, afternoon between 3pm - 5pm or 4pm - 6pm & evening/bedtime visits between 6pm - 9pm.
What kind of pets do you provide care for?
One of A Kind Dog Walking provides one of a kind care for dogs, cats, birds (parrots & poultry), rodents (from mice to rabbits) and reptiles.
What happens if the weather is too bad for a walk?
If the weather is too extreme. Hot, cold, downpour etc. I switch to indoor playtime and/or yard time. I have a kiddie pool I bring with me on hot days for dogs that enjoy water. I am happy to play with whatever toys your dog enjoys, including but not limited to enrichment toys!
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel before 7am three days before scheduled visit and there is no charge. Cancel after 7am and you will be charged 50% of the cost of the scheduled visit. Failure to provide 24 hours notice will result in a charge for the full cost of the missed visit(s).
Do you charge a Holiday fee?
Yes for Drop in Petsitting visits that fall on Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Halloween, New Years Eve and New Years Day. A $10 surcharge per visit will be added.
What forms of payment do you accept?
One of A Kind Dog Walking accepts cash, check and online credit/debit card payments through the software Petpocketbook. Checks should be made payable to "One of A Kind Dog Walking LLC."
Do you accept tips?
Yes, tips are welcomed and always appreciated but not expected. They can be left in cash, written into the amount with the check or Petpocketbook gives a tipping option if you pay through the software.
